Midterm 3 - Precision and Accuracy

PRECISION AND ACCURACY


Precision is the nearness of the values to one another & accuracy is the nearness of the value to the true value. And they’re very important in Quality Assurance. Especially on the laboratory where we perform many tests that requires both accuracy and precision. For our customers to trust us, what we give them should be an accurate and precise result, because their life depends on the tests we performed on them. Therefore, giving them inaccurate results put their lives at risk, which we always avoid as health care providers.

Midterm 2 - Product Research and Product Specifications

Product research & product specifications are under Material Management. It is defined as assuring adequate quality of purchases. A product should be assured to be of good quality, because all customers surely wanted have not just experience an excellent service from an organization but also wants the best quality of the product he/she will be receiving. The team should be careful in choosing and specifying the products they will offer to their customers, because a good feedback from a customer is considered to be a part of the success.

Midterm 1 - Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs


Maslow manage to create the hierarchy of needs of people to help the management deal with different problems, challenges a company will have. This hierarchy prevents problems or challenges from becoming worst because it is used to determine what must be achieved first by employees and once this is met they will move to a much higher need which cannot be stopped unless it has been satisfied. Being taught of this it gave me a realization that in order for people to work effectively in a company such hierarchy must be met in different process and motivation because not all of them have the save needs at the same time.

Prelim 3 - Personnel Management

Personnel Management


Handling people is not as easy as counting 1, 2, 3.. It entails a lot of patience and dedication because not all people have the same behavior or attitude. Sometimes people work in a company with different reasons and motivations why they are working. Despite this differences one manager must know how to understand his subordinate.. Being able to know their behavior will help you understand more the needs and wants that will be helpful in motivating them in working more in achieving one common goals despite of their differences why they work in a company.

Personnel Management is more on people centered way for they will be able to observe the different behavior of people they have and used it in making a constructive decision for the benefit of all and not of just the few. 

Prelim 2 - Leadership

LEADERSHIP - is the activity of leading a group of people or an organization or the ability to do this.

It involves establishing a clear vision, sharing that vision with others so that they will follow willingly, providing the information, knowledge and methods to realize that vision, and
coordinating and balancing the conflicting interests of all members and stakeholders.


Although leadership is not inborn it can be taught for one person who wants to become an effective person in dealing other people must know how to be a good leader where he shows that he can walk his talk or can set as a good example to everyone. A leader must know how to win the hearts of his follower and must show that he just don't manage the situation but shows his decisiveness in terms of being the proponent of it which will others imitate.

Prelim 1 - Laboratory Manager...

Laboratory manager as a person

Based on the three versions of a laboratory manager... I believe that the most influential of all the three is the laboratory manager as a person because it will really show the real personality of the person and how he is capable of really doing his job. A person who is a natural leader and has inborn skills which is an important factor or ingredients in dealing with different types of people and is ready to face the challenges the job offers. Not all people or leaders can handle and deal different people in different situation but since this person can really have a personal touch in handling the situation he can become a better leader and would always be flexible in facing them. If ever I would become a leader I would be more than willing to be a people person so that I can always handle different situation that will not hamper my decision making skills and be a broad minded individual in ensuring that every situation that calls for decision making can be used and would have a win win situation on all aspects of it.
